BGP Neighbor State Changes
This alert will trigger when the specified BGP neighbor establishes a new connection. This is useful for seeing flapping connections in between the poll intervals. You will need to edit the NRQL condition to specify which relationship(s) you want the alert to target.
BGP Neighbor Idle
This alert will trigger when the specified BGP neighbor is "Idle" for 300 seconds. You will need to edit the NRQL condition to specify which relationship(s) you want the alert to target.

The BGP routing neighbor quickstart provides a dashboard that gives you a summary of the current state of your BGP neighbor connections, as well as example alerts to get you started. Use this quickstart together with New Relic's Network Monitoring feature to use SNMP data to visualize changes to the state of your network.
